Updated
Before you begin:
- Get your free widget script from AccessiYes. No signup is required.
- New to the embed script? See the JavaScript embed quick start guide for how it works.
- If the Custom Code section is locked in your project, upgrade to a paid Framer site plan to use it.
Steps to add the accessibility widget on Framer
Step 1: Head to Site Settings
Open your project in Framer, click the gear icon to open Site Settings, and select the General tab.
Step 2: Paste your script
Scroll down to Custom Code and paste your AccessiYes script into the End of <body> tag field. Framer saves the change automatically.

Step 3: Publish
Click Publish (or Update if your site is already live) in the top right corner. Custom code only appears on the published site, not in the editor canvas.
Step 4: Verify
Open your published Framer site in a new browser tab. The accessibility icon should appear in the position you chose when generating your script.

A widget on its own does not make a site fully legally compliant. Treat it as one part of a wider accessibility effort that includes a WCAG-focused review of your template and content.
