Steps to add the accessibility widget on Squarespace

Step 1: Head to Code Injection

From your Squarespace dashboard, go to Settings > Website > Custom Code > Code Injection.

Step 2: Paste your script

Paste the script you copied from AccessiYes into the Footer field. This field loads on every page, right before the closing body tag.

Step 3: Save

Click Save in the top right corner.

Step 4: Verify

Open your live site (not the in-editor preview). You should see the accessibility icon in the position you chose when generating your script.

A widget on its own does not make a site fully legally compliant. It gives visitors real, working adjustments and is one part of a broader accessibility effort alongside a WCAG-focused review of your template and content.
